Topic: Passenger / Passenger crashes the server - how do I remove?

Passenger crashes on me roughly every 2 hours.

The error log is then filled with hundreds of lines like these:
[Tue Feb 24 14:22:23 2009] [error] [client 89.151.110.152] * Unexpected error in Passenger: The ApplicationPool server exited unexpectedly.
[Tue Feb 24 14:22:27 2009] [error] [client 67.205.112.79] * Unexpected error in Passenger: The ApplicationPool server exited unexpectedly.
[Tue Feb 24 14:22:28 2009] [error] [client 89.151.110.152] * Unexpected error in Passenger: The ApplicationPool server exited unexpectedly.
[Tue Feb 24 14:22:28 2009] [error] [client 67.205.112.79] * Unexpected error in Passenger: Could not connect to the ApplicationPool server: Broken pipe (32)
[Tue Feb 24 14:23:33 2009] [error] [client 66.150.96.121] * Unexpected error in Passenger: Could not connect to the ApplicationPool server: Broken pipe (32)

I don’t think that it has to do with high server load, as Fiveruns shows no spikes or something before or after the crash.

As I have found that several people around the internet have this problem and no one has a solution… I would kindly ask your help: What is the right way to remove it?
