Multiple IPs for one Brightbox?

Dear Brightbox team, Having a forum is a great idea! After successfully hosting several of my clients at Brightbox, I’m considering moving the hosting of my own web sites to Brightbox. This would involve putting 5-6 lowish traffic web sites on a single Brightbox. The problem is that some of them need SSL. Now, I have heard that to set up Apache 2 with SSL (+ buy a SSL certificate), I will need an unique IP for each site? Is that the case? And can I get more than one IP for a Brightbox? |

Hi Christian – yes, you’d need multiple IP addresses for multiple SSL certs and yes, we can allocate more than one public IP address to a box. We do charge an admin fee of £2.50 a month for each additional address. If you need to do this, just submit a support ticket and we’ll allocate the addresses. |
